Translating a business problem into a technical solution, and advising on infrastructure, scalability, security and maintainability — which architecture or platform fits, and what is worth automating.
Best fit
For anyone who knows something should be better but not which way to move: a choice between platforms, a system that won't scale, a process that costs too much by hand. Often the first step, sometimes the only one needed — the answer is allowed to be that you shouldn't build anything.
Putting language models where they genuinely save work — making documents searchable, classifying incoming data, automating recurring manual steps — built as ordinary software, with the guardrails and checks that implies.
Best fit
For anyone who can see AI paying off but doesn't want to end up with a demo nobody trusts. The answer is allowed to be that a language model isn't the right tool: plenty of what gets called AI is a script you can read — and that is cheaper, faster and auditable.
